Many actors from Champagne were eagerly awaiting the news: it has just come down. The yield of the Champagne 2020 appellation is 8,000 kg/ha, which is equivalent to 230 million bottles, including 1,000 kg/ha, depending on the market. In other words, if shipments are less than 200 million bottles, the yield could be re-evaluated at 7,000 kg/ha.
